Digital Content Creator

Job Summary 

We are looking for a Digital Content Creator ready to put their expert skills to work by building engagement with those who interact with us through our digital platforms. You’ll help capture, edit, and create important content for Fellowship of Montgomery in our mission to reach the lost by reaching young families. This position will be under the direction of the Director of Creative and Media. 

Essential Responsibilities

· Capture and edit compelling multi-platform photo and video content, including event recaps, Sunday experience, Wednesday experience, testimonials, promotional pieces, and more.
· Create various forms of social media content - images, short-form videos, captions - suitable for the various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
· Capture photos and videos for additional marketing channels such as websites, emails, print, etc.
· Plan content capture according to the event calendar.
· Manage our volunteer photography team.
· Work with a wide range and quality of video & static imagery - turning them into content assets built for individual platforms and audiences.
· Research and stay on top of industry best practices and techniques to continuously improve our overall social media and digital marketing efforts and asset libraries.
· Help manage photo and video assets.
· Oversee all copy for outside communication.
· Participate in brainstorming/planning meetings as a creative team member.
· Educate staff and volunteers about systems and processes for digital content & communication.
· Other duties as assigned or interest expressed.

Job Requirements 

· 2+ years of relevant digital experience, including photography, video, design, or all of the above.
· Be confident on camera.
· An understanding of fundamental design principles.
· Be a Self-Starter.
· Video production & photography experience preferred
· Strong Understanding of Adobe CC Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, etc.
· High level of time management and ability to work under pressure.
· Past work that is viewable.
· Responding in a timely manner to all DMs and comments that require or forwarding DMs to according to the pastoral staff.
· Copywriting.
· A background in understanding and interpreting audience engagement.

· Creative storytelling: At the end of the day, content needs to tell a story. And content creators are storytellers by nature.
· Cross-team collaboration might include working with several ministry teams on story development or receiving feedback.

· Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through the utilization of professional work standards.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
· Ability to get along well with others and handle confidential matters.
· Ability to manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, orally, and in writing.
· Must be punctual, pleasant, and tactful with professional appearance and conduct.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, coworkers, civic organizations, business professionals, and the public.
· Must have strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to work with creatives.
