Role Summary

The Video Producer captures, edits, and produces video content that supports the mission of Fellowship of Montgomery. This role exists to bring stories to life with clarity, creativity, and excellence, helping people see what God is doing and inviting them into new life in Jesus Christ.
This position focuses on several key areas: supporting social content, producing testimonies, creating event recaps, and supporting podcast content. The role also provides meaningful video support for the Senior Pastor, helping communicate vision, encouragement, and leadership messaging with clarity and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Social Content Support
· Create social-first video content, including short-form vertical clips and ministry highlights
· Work with the Creative Director to support Sundays, Wednesdays, and upcoming campaigns
· Deliver timely edits that are ready to publish and aligned with our voice and standards
Testimonies
· Capture and edit testimony videos that are authentic, clear, and compelling
· Ensure interviews are well lit and well recorded, with clean audio and thoughtful pacing
· Partner with the Creative Director on planning and execution for testimony shoots
Event Recaps
· Capture key moments at church events
· Edit recap videos that celebrate what happened, communicate what mattered, and invite people into what is next
· Deliver highlight edits quickly after events when fast publishing is needed
Podcast Content
· Capture and edit podcast-related video content and promotional clips
· Maintain consistent standards for pacing and delivery
· Partner with the Creative Director on execution for podcast shoots or more complex production days
Senior Pastor Content Support
· Provide video-based support for the Senior Pastor by creating social-ready pastoral content such as Bible teaching clips, devotional encouragement, sermon follow-ups, leadership communication, and timely ministry updates that equip our church family and help reach new people online
· Respond quickly to time-sensitive requests
· Help translate pastoral messaging into clear, engaging visuals for both in-room and digital use

How You Work

Production and Editing
· Own projects from concept through delivery, including pre-production, filming, and post-production
· Capture strong visuals and clean audio in both run-and-gun and controlled environments
· Edit with strong pacing, music sensibility, and attention to detail
Equipment and File Organization
· Care for and organize cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and related gear
· Maintain organized project files and a consistent folder structure for long-term retrieval

Skills and Experience

· Demo reel or portfolio that demonstrates storytelling and editing ability
· Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for editing. Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading is a plus. After Effects is a plus.
· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud for basic supporting needs (graphics, audio cleanup, exports, file prep)
· Competent with cinema camera operation and audio capture 
· Familiar with filmmaking equipment such as C-stands, rigging, flags, diffusion, and lighting.
· Familiar with design software like Photoshop and Illustrator to integrate design elements into videos.
· Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
· Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for services and events
· Willingness to travel occasionally if required
